Welcome to the one-man show of a woman whose existence is conceived as a threat in a geography where today is no different than yesterday. Umut, who has always been mere figurant in a great life, is this time on stage to share her memories. Family ties, “madilik”, disappointments, childhood dreams, anything that leaves a taste of sourness in one’s mouth for it could not reach the right person…

6 Üstü Oyun / “6 by 6 Plays” Project
“6 Üstü Oyun” project is created by Altıdan Sonra Production. Some of the most productive Turkish playwrights got together within this project and one play will make a premier everymonth month starting December. 
Plays with the common theme of “TODAY” written by Ayşe Bayramoğlu, Civan Canova, Ebru Nihan Celkan, Mirza Metin, Yeşim Özsoy Gülan vand Yiğit Sertdemir will be performed by master actors and actresses.

Comments on the play by playwright Ebru Nihan Celkan:“Yesterday I was human, today I am human as well. Just human. While we could sing together, dance together… Why do you put these on me? Why do you try to straighten me out? Why? Look, my eyes are no different from yours, my laughter is full of joy… I am Umut, you?” This play is a test of our humanity through a trans woman…
