“A Carefree Play” is a piece with no words that explores where the audience, audiences` expectations and the state of watching evolves and towards where the “thing” that is watched goes/is taken.
How could transforming the human, the ultimate and ideal cause of the theatre, be achieved?
What would a play become if all the audience is really transformed watching a play?
Kumbaracı50 Trilogy was formed by setting out from the very own reality of the place, the time and space of the place. First episode of the trilogy “Gerçek Hayattan Alınmıştır/Based On A Real Story” takes place during the construction of Kumbaracı50, second episode “Barzo ile Konserve / Barzo and Conserve” takes place at the venue after a show, third episode “A Carefree Play” takes place among the audience while watching a play at Kumbaracı50. On a grotesque fashion, starting first as reality and text based where later words wane and eventually disappear, the trilogy concludes with “A Carefree Play”.
